Leon Walker talks about growing up on a farm near Rossie, Iowa during the Great Depression; contracting polio in 1941 and being treated for three months at St. Joseph Hospital in Sioux City with the Sister Kenny treatment; marrying and having children; working in banks after attending business school; struggling with the permanent damage to his legs from polio; and the support he got from his parents and his wife.
